Critical Thinking: The Soul of Communication
Communication is the way to connect people together, its how we express our ideas and get people to agree it. As leaders in a work context, we should have the ability to give clear and concise speeches to get people on the same page.
We can break the key words down and further elaborate communication. Effective communication can be categories into one way speeches or two way engagements. In the one way speeches, we must be clear of what we are trying to express, ensure that its full in content and deliver it across to the audience. In two way engagements we must ensure that the conversation is meaningful and relatable to the other as well.
Elaborating Critical Thinking. Critical thinking is the knowledge of the topic and host a meaningful conversation. As stated in the above paragraph, communication is to be full in content, which is related to critical thinking. With this logic you could even say that without critical thinking, communication seems like an empty shell.
Understanding these things, being a leader in workplace, it is essential to have knowledge in your field and ability of effective communication. The combination of these two is the key to reduce the chance of miscommunication and loss of money in the bigger picture.
